Kathmandu, March 3: The Society of Families of Enforced Disappeared, Nepal, has submitted a memorandum to the Chief District Officer, Basantaraj Gautam, demanding to make public the status of enforced disappeared during the decade-long insurgency.
Chairman of Society Yekraj Bhandari submitted the memorandum to Gautam asking him to forward it to the Office of the Prime Minister.
Receiving the memorandum, Gautam pledged to submit the memorandums after receiving from 55 district chapters of the Society.
The major demands of the Society include guaranteeing education, health and employment to the family members of enforced disappeared and taking action to the perpetrators, among others. RSS
